Development plans for the financier's private tropical island featured within the images.

Epstein bought a more modest island - Little St James - back in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the bigger adjacent island in 2016 for approximately $22.5 million.
The released images indicate he had formulated ambitious plans to develop the substantial island by building homes, an performance venue, an office beneath the waves and a pool.
You can see the plan is a local waterway, a marine passage in the territory, noted on the south-eastern section.
The architectural drawing is marked up in handwritten red notes and includes a legend detailing various sections of the estate.
Accompanying the main plan are what appear to be an additional nine site drawings and architectural plans, including designs for marina coverings.
